i haven't a clue what its worth tbh, trying to figure out if i can be bothered persevering with it, when it works its ace, but that looks like it'll be for all of a week in total this year

I sold my stripped out, L reg, 2.0L corsa for £500.
It was probably more stripped than yours tho

Only needed wheels, suspension, brakes, bonnet and bumpers to get it back on the road.

can vary a hell of a lot from 1K all the way to 4.5K depending on condition and how extensively modified it si.
Gaz's one dont seem to be selling due to cracked B pillars, rust and car being gernally tatty. Brads on the other hand looked mint and was a sound car hence he got his asking price. All depends on how its presented and what it looks like IMO

second what Fad said...
fella I know just bought a red GSi on an L plate, bodywork generally tatty, cracked B pillars etc, but a sound 20XE up front.
bargain at £1150 IMO

Its the same thing with Fords its best to get a mint shell over engine as body work cost more to sort out than engine work.

they're getting too common, thats the problem, its just as cheap for sum1 to build 1 as it is to buy 1,
on the other hand tho, i sold my m-reg sri with rust patches here and there, but with a mint c20let for £2700 cos they're not AS common,
keep it and do a few little things to make it stand out and make ppl look at it and go iI WANT THAT 1 instead of all the others

The thing is you will find ther MAJORITY of cheap Corsa XE/LET are half finished projects that are often tatty or need work here and there. The complete ones go for decent money.

yes i agree with fad alot of 2.0 jobs are so tatty and generally crap, and ppl do the conversions on a crap shell, i like to think if i dont sell mine ill get good money as shell is mint had full respray, the undernieth is waxoiled every year and my 2.0 conversion looks tidier than my origional engine so presentation is what its all about and how well its bin looked after...
