To tax all you need is an MOT Certificate, Insurance Certificate and your V11 (Vehicle Licence application)

I rang up the DVLA who told me they had sent one in September, which I have never had.

She said that I can send the green slip off my old one with a form from the post office and they will send me one. If not I can pay £19 for a replacement which will come within 3-5 days. She also said to ring the garage and see if they accept the old ones. Luckily for me they do, and I can get it sorted afterwards

She was proper off with me on the phone too the woman from the DVLA. Like well you've had one type thing. These days, how much post does Royal Mail misplace
