Lost 3-1 to chelsea but for a team thats in league 1 they played bloody well in the first half.

Second half the chelsea big guns just outplayed them slightly, and the Col U boys got tired

But they done well, never gave up and defended everything that drogba, cole, lampard, crespo, wright phillips gave at them

They played very well to be fair.

Let's just hope that Southend beat them

That pitch was very worrying, going to be bad on Wednesday for both Chelsea and Barca

Barca told them they wont play unless they sort the pitch

its appauling the state of it

they need to take a leaf out of arsenals book, will be hard to find a better pitch than ours

Agreed, Arsenals pitch has always been fantastic. I hope that will continue into the Emirates.

Bournemouths pitch isnt as bad a Chelseas.

Now all you need is a decent team to play on said pitch

the pitch is ruined beacuse they know barca are a skillfull team who play alot of the game on the deck whereas chelsea can play it in the air.
its clear this is their plan as u could resurface that whole pitch in 2 days if they realy wanted to, not like moneys a problem.
chelsea are now used to it so will be intrestign to see. hope they dont paly huff hes absolutely shite

its going to be the same grass, under soil heating etc as they want to remain the same pitch at emirates stadium!
If we beat real then i can see us facing barcelona in the final but i cant see that happening!

Next year after the new season, new budget for transfers and a shake about of players we should be up there again!

If you lose to Real and get knocked out I reckon you can say au revoir to Mr Henry (I know he said he wants to stay but he hasnt signed anything has he?). Lets face it, 4th place isn't looking very likely for your lot either.

To start with i was really worried about loosing henry, but the arsenal squad is so young and we need to draft in some big hitters,

loose reyes, seek replacement for pires, also someone to be that rock we miss and take over flamnini spot,
the back four needs scrapping but keeping senderos,
campbells gone, cole is always injured

and if henry does go for what 40m or something silly then im sure we can get another big name into replace him, although i love the guy

van persie and walcot can then take it turns for the other striker position

fabregas can stay but needs a big strong well known defensive midfielder to help him out!

I think its acheivable and with the new stadium, transfer budget, sponsor i hope we can learn from this season and move on with the new look arsenal!

diaby looks top quality IMO,. ledley king will be a great replacment for campbell

Reyes is Pires replacment, Wenger has basically admitted that by signing so many strikers :S

Torres if Henry goes or maybe thats why he signed Walcott :S

Just a shame they threw everything at chelsea and had them on the rack.

Thats the difference with lower league clubs they lack the killer punch with a bit of stamina.

They can hold their heads high though and a nice cash injection

For a start the Chelsea pitch is poor because of the sunlight that doesn't help the pitch etc.

Due to the fact Chelsea have played so many games at home that is why they didn't get it resurfaced as the time was against them and it wouldn't of been done in time.

How some of you can say it will affect Barca more than Chelsea i'll never know, Chelsea are 1 of the best passing teams in the world.

Ok may play a few long balls here and there but so does everyone !

They were fantastic, but as the second half went on you could see that they were'nt closing Chelsea down or getting close to them, evidence of this was Joe Coles goal, was so easy.
