im after some 18s for the bmw, but im stuck between m3 ones or the sport ones
both would be genuine articles, about the same price etc
done want it to look like an m3 as it isnt one (so would have to get sport bumpers) but dont want aftermarket ones as it will look cheap
any ideas?

m3 are nicer looking wheels, but as you said most people know they are from an M3. Sport ones arent too bad though.
Why not go for something non-OEM?

You won't actually be able to fit official M3 wheels on it mate, they have a lower offset and will stick out stupidly on your car with standard sport arches. I think standard offset for MV and MVII wheels is something like 42 or 46, whereas M3 wheels are ET10 and wider than MV wheels anyway.
I'm going to go for 19" MV2 replica's on mine, like this:

Think so, my mate bought one of those soprt diesel convertables and his has m3 bit all over on the sills etc.
