im 99% sure thats right.
i know that SR on a nova stood for "Sports Refined" so i would assume that the "i" was added for "Injection" as the "SR" changed to "SRi" when they had to add injection system and cat to the nova

and "Grand Sport Injection" sounds about right for "GSi"

I always thought it was Sports Refined Injection, but other people before now has said its Sports Rally Injection and Sports Rated Injection as people have said in this post too, i've never really seen any proof either way but i still think Sports Refined Injection is correct as it seems the most likely and fitting name

SRi = Sports Refinement Injection
SXi = Sports Xtra Injection
GTE = Grand Touring Einspritz (German for Injection and probably spelt wrong)
GSi = Grand Sport Injection
