If you have DOC (Drive Other [peoples] Cars) insurance. Does the car that you are going to drive have to be insured to somone for it all to be legit?
I am unsure as to how the law is worded, as you need to have a minimum of 3rd party insurance right? I would surely have that with my DOC cover... However, the Police can automatically check and see if the car is covered by insurance on thier computer in the car and they couldn't do that...
I have confused myself

All vehicles on the road have to have their own insurance policy.

You'll fail an ANPR road side check if its not, which is hassle in itself, plus you can't park it. As soon as you're not in charge, ie. not in the drivers seat with the keys, its not insured.
