Mine are made from P38 and P40. One has fibreglass strands in it the other is a finer filler, though I cant remember whats whats.
I basically made a wood O from MDF, and raised it at the angle I wanted to from the original pod by wedging a bit of ply under the O. then used the fibreglass (p38/P40) to get the general shaperubbed it down then finished it off with the finer filler stuff and rubbed that down. I also rubbed the original pod down to get rid of the grain effect, plastic primered it. then went over with a normal primer then sprayed them black. Few coats of paint, when it was dry, i t-cut and polished them and they came up good.
They were quite hard work but i enjoyed making them at the same time.

I made mine an all in one with fibre glass paste and LOADS of filler. They weighed an absolute tonne though

so I took a fibre glass mold of each side, sanded them down and originally had them covered in cobra rock red material:

Then had the whole lot done in leather:

Still got these rear panels in the garage if you want them:

I dont sit on the passengers side but yeah there is enough room in there for ya feet just the angle of the pic makes it look worse than it is!
I am currnetly making a build for the drivers side but it isnt so big due to needing the leg room for the pedals, but will look great when it is finished
I assume Claires door handles are on door poppers?
I've been thinking about a leather re-trim in the cabin on my car recently....
