I would think 'interesting job'. I wouldn't think about your salary.

I happen to know its loads because its your company, but I wouldn't put a figure on it.

don't agree with that..

industrial sprayers could be doing planes / ships / oil rigs etc..think there is more money in that than cars...

Well, I mean a sole trader, just been talking to someone on msn who knows my sister and he's wanting a job, he expects 20k, I think that's bum rape in the industrial game, and reading the I.T. thread also inspired me, but the main point is, it's a scruffy looking job, people associate jobs like that and building to be badly paid, 30k is considered reasonable.

Well, I'm completely legit, so no worries there I pay extra tax, and I think it's right that I should, but (I hope the taxman really doesn't look at CS) I manage to screw my annual profit right down on my tax rebait.

30k sounds about right if he's got work all year.

take 20 days off for holiday, then 18% = about £70 day rate.

I've been doing dry lining about 18 months, my day rate is £130 minus 18% altho the majority of my work is on price. Price works out better for me as I can earn what I want (usally more than day rate), but I might have to change companys 2 or 3 times a year and travel a fair distance for the better work.

30k a year for a secure job cant be bad
