If you were to go on a 7-10 day roadtrip in europe starting in france, where would you go and what would you want to see?

Those that suggest the nurburgring bear in mind that I drive a diesel vectra

First stop off currently planned is:

Millau Viaduct - South of France

When i went with my Dad to Switzerland on motorbike, we sat on the balcony of a restauraunt, we were sat above a storm, higher than the clouds. That was mint!

Stopping at Monaco, that'd be good, same weekend as the F1

Jesus Mike I'd just spend 8 or 9 days staring at that

If you go into Germany, try running to the top of the cathedral in Cologne.

When you get to the top, you can feel your heart beating violently in just about every part of your body.

But mostly in the back of your neck and head - I thought I was going to die.

Also, if you're taking in the south of France and you time your trip right, you could stay in or just before Nice in one of the village hotels en route (absolutely beautifull) and hit Monaco for race weekend - the roads go mad, especially along the front in Nice at night, and the local gendarmes tend to turn a blind eye.
