ive been looking at the performance side 7.1 to 60.. i could get a 240bhp cally t which cud do it far quicker .. the golf's look so much better i think

a couple of mates have had them and they arent all that to be honest. Much prefer the Cally T any day of the week!!

finding a good one is hard as you say, driven a few and they aren't all that at all, not unless you spend a lot of money under the bonnet anyway.

ive found a few nice vr6's a couple local full leather average mileage around the 3.7k mark but trying to find a calibra that hasent be fcuked to death is very hard

Overpriced, too heavy, too much to insure, expensive tax, expensive to fix, too little mpg for performance....


BUT

Look great with a few mods, good solid car, sounds lovely, can strap a s/c on.

I'd still say bad points outweigh good.

would get a corrado over one, bit rarer.

The vr6 engine is chain driven which is meant to last for life of engine, but most get it done at 100k

a place called TCS sells some good cars

If £5k of that is on tyres then steer clear i'd much rather a corrado vr6 over a cally turbo btw

when i was looking for golfs, most are 5dr's, and majority of 3drs looked a bit "too used", not many people looked after em as much as the corrado
