want sumthing cheap, taxed and mot ed as can't trailor. am thinking around the 1k mark

jus looked at a 205 gti 1.6 105bhp - would that b enough?? that was 750.

xe corsa wud b gud i suspect but most are 1.5k + also difficult 2 sell on

Enough isnt a factor, depends what you want in the car. Its not a race, just about how much fun you have. Cars will greatly vary in power.

If your looking for fun I suggest a 106 rallye s1

John, go test drive one They do handle well. I've got standard susp, but with uprated bushes etc.... and a solid rear beam LOL .... like a go kart

clio 1.8 16 valver good cars handle well and quick cheap insurance but drink fuel
205 gti try and get a 1.9
106 rallye great cars
corsa gsi
fiesta xr2i cheap to buy but expensive on insurance

go for the 1.6 GTi...... not as powerfull but has better gearbox for track etc

205GTi for a std unfettled car. Sticka 309 GTi rear beam on it good cars. Anda qwikrack.

I'm not 100% inpressed with the turn in on mine, but more testing is needed in warmer conditions 539'sa nd cold = pants traction

Yup just got my 205 Gti 1.6 , might not be that quick but it does handle amazing!! i was suprised at how well it does! mines only lowered about 40mm front and back is about 20mm if not standard but has avo adjustable on back and uprated front suspention which i havnt checked the make of yet. Front end is a bit slidy in this shity weather but thats due to my avons being a bit worn. but sticks to the road well! Get a shot in 1 as every1 says ! that will make up your mind.
