To be honest who knows the full story, news will only try and exploit them in harshest way possible, it makes good news. I cant judge, I dont trust the news 100%

I heard that they were attending a call to difuse a riot where a load of iraqis were throwing rocks and petrol bombs and to round up the people they deemed to be the ring leaders etc.....they went with only battons and shields. If you had just had rocks and petrol bombs thrown at you and your only defence was a batton and shield, would you not be a little pissed off?
I also heard that every other nations troops are trained to and would have been ordered to shoot at and kill the people throwing the petrol bombs and rocks.
Although it was wrong, think i would rather be beaten up than shot.
Just my opinion anyway.

i got back from iraq in november....there all cunts they know were not allowed to shoot them so thats why they start throwing rocks an petol bombs an shit at us....they dont do it to the yanks because they would just shot them....british army is shit when it comes to things like that..if we could shoot them maybe they would leave our boys alone out there imo

tbh i cant see what all the fuss is about, all the army are doing is pinning them down and getting them in handcuffs. so what if they get hit with a baton when they resist these people were just throwing petrol bombs at the army and theres a good chance that the iraqis had guns on them.
did find the camera man a bit disturbing though
