hadnt used my car for about 24 hours. Started up ok yesterday drove down the road and turned right seemed to 'hickup' a bit drove about another 200 meters and then it seemed to struugle got to a bend and the revs wouldnt stay up dipped the clutch and tried to rev it and it cut out

Coasted for a bit to a safe place and called the AA.

told me it would be an hour. Got a phone call 20 mins later to say he was on the way.

Smack on the hour he arrived.

Popped the engine cover and cranked it over.

The king lead from the coil pack to the distributor was arking every where.

The vents in my engine cover let too much water through and due to the lead being old and the silecone breaking down and being wet it was fooked.

tried another one on it and it worked.

He didnt have one on his van to fit mine so he dried mine out and fitted it back on. Started it and it went
Bought some new leads today
