Finally! Looking a bit tatty currently but rest assured I will sort it. Seems in good working order so far, came with a new bumper unsprayed, brand new decals still boxed, quikshift which is fitted and an unfitted de-cat. Got a few minor dents which I intend to sort but apart from that im really chuffed. Ian will be cross, its not a corsa! Sorry!

Its 1.3 8v, 100bhp though. Really picks up after 5k revs, its impressive.

Plans are, for now I want to fix up what I can, probably put the new decals on once the dents are sorted. Dont know if its really worth it though, cos I want to strip the thing, fit the decat and track the thing.

Nah the s2 is 1.6, but thats 103bhp. It is an impressive lil motor.

It'll be 1.3 8v... Looks generally pretty clean for the money mate.. Bumper fixed, new decals, and lowered and it'll be ace...

Dont strip it if your bothered about road noise! lol. I've got bk seats and trim out mine just now.. very noisy!

Im not bothered about noise, its loud as it is, sounds ace though at high revs, and the looks you get are priceless. Im not sure what il do yet, just going to enjoy it for the time being

Tappets are a tad loud, common problem. Will look into this right away.

I've tried to get a happy medium with the tappets ever since I got mine.. its not a problem, its just because there not hydraulic.. I found that making them tighter, i.e. quieter made the car hold back quite badly and have flat spots. I have them set just below factory settings just now and its still noisy but revs freely.

You just have to get used to losing out on comfort from and noise from the quiksilver..

Get gear oil checked and engine oil changed asap aswell.. gearboxes are a fortune and engines love their oil. lol
