Where shell i start

i decided today that i was goin to fix a blow on my car for the mot where the cat joins the center section.
so i went to my LMF and got a few bits. i decide then to undo the clamp on the join and this was fine. then i decided to undo the 2 spring bolts which joins the cat to the mainifold, this is because i didnt want to touch the center section and backbox as they are in the perfect position, wish i did now.

First problem was that the bolts were not undoing or doing up so i guess these were threaded, so clever me fort i know i will undo the 4 bolts connecting the downpipe to the main mainifold. undid the first bolt fine, then snap

the next bolt snaped off leaving half a bolt in there still

so i fort i would carry on, next one snap

i fort can this day get anyworse then the final one was fine. after that all came off fine.

at this time my mate james (aka fastevoboy) came round and i fittted a new MFD cover for his corsa c, no problems at all

i then cut the 2 spring bolts off and then had to go down the LMF again (cheers james) to get some more bits

all the bits i snaped off and cut

but i was still left with 2 bolts snaped in my mainifold, so once my old man got home at 5 till 8.30 we were outside drilling the bolts out and re-threading them and fitting the downpipe back on

Tommorrow i have to got all through it again to refit the cat all because of the MOT in a few weeks.

can anyone give me any light on this please
