Just wondering how you lot who have been or go to uni got through it?

I believe the loan, once you've taken out for the accommodation, gives about 3 pound a day on average?

So did your parents pay, or did you work your way through, or any lottery winners lol?

Just curious thats all! plus who took their car?

Im at uni now

I get my student loan and scholarship.

Thats roughly 5k a year in total.
I then work over the summer and earn a further 5k

so i have 10k for the year. That payd for uni outright, going out, cars, petrol etc etc

I work part time roughly 20 hours a week and commute.
I get a student loan of 2.4k a year 1.5k of that goes on my fees, and i also have a student overdraft facility of 1,400. I manage to run a car and a girlfriend and have a few nights out a month with the lads, Only just though. I'm carefull with my money.
usually have an holiday every year too.

parents paid my fees, bought myself an apartment with my trust fund and give myself an allowance out of that aswell so I dont have to work while Im at Uni.

Getting a job next week as the student loan is running out. I only ever ask my parents for money when I get desperate because I'm 20 and shouldn't be living off them anymore.

Edit: I also have left my car at home, and it's not insured or taxed so that saves a fair bit of money.

mine never, mine was meant to last me till easter, got it on 6th jan and spent it by end of jan

I never ask my parents for money, then again i'm 22 and still at uni Worst thing is, i still don't know what i'm going to do after.
