jus wantin sum advice from sumone who's turbo'd there corsa ive got a 2ltr red top n im thinkin of puttin a turbo in.whats the diff in power, speed and what problems did u encounter?

millions of threads about it do a search.


The C20LET is similar in size (almost identical) so there shouldnt be much problems at all.

Usual reccomendations is a rebuild. Al least get a new loom and sensors plus pipe work.

Turbos tend to be smokey post 80k, but not always the case, buying an engine i na car is better as u get ot hear it running.

Vauxhall do remanafactured engines for a price on exchange (around £1500 IIRC)

Check helpzone and mod advice for fitting advice.


Power for a std LET lump is 205bhp (XE= 150)

yeah vauxhall recon price is £1400, but that is just the block and the head.

You get no sump and no ancillaries, so no turbo either.

you do get a sump.

it comes as block and head with thermostat and housing with both sensors and flywheel, rocker cover, spark plug cover and cam cover
