Greg - Its all about Positive Mental Attitude.

The mind is way more powerful than the body - convince your mind that you will feel better and you will. But it works both ways - if you let your mind think your body is struggling then generally you wont improve - hence anxiety - major form of mind being stronger than the body in a negative way.

Think about it...You'll see im right.

I got prescribed Penicillin recently when my cold was at it's worst and my throat inside felt like sandpaper, seems to have done the trick.

Think my body is immune to the effects of Paracetamol!

Yes, indeed there is, a family member of mine found out today they have approx 5/6months left due to a cancerous growth in their neck, I'm not one for dramatics and although it's quite a sad thing, every life ends in death, so count your blessings your car doesn't have cancer of whatever.

But thats just it. When the going gets tough you have to get tougher - its easy to be beaten by things that happen, whether it be illness or sorrow, but no matter what it is, you have to make your mind stronger. It sounds rediculous I know but ive had some major life changing things happen and if I'd have given in to it I probably wouldnt be here telling this story right now.

Positivity even when you dont think you can do it can work wonders, I dont know how but it does.

Venom - Im not bothered about the car mate, im not bothered about the flu, or my viral infection.

As long as the pain goes and the cancer isn't cancer ill be happy.

At least you saw a doctor and got some medication, some of the poor 3rd world unfortunates have probably never even heard of such things.
Count your blessings, not your sorrows. I hope your throat and car get better soon

yeah but if the worst thing thats happening to you is the flu, then your going to cry over it, obviously if theres something worse you will cry over that.
its all fine and well to say people are starving in africa ect theres worse people off than you obviously this is always going to be true, but you as an individual are only going to really be able to relate to whats hapening to you at the time.

ive got the flu and im whinging over it as its the worst thing thats happening to me at the moment, i know people are dying all over the world but thats no relative to what im thnking at the moment.

A positive attitude reflects on the body, be optimistic and make every decision as if you need 100% benefit from it.
