No, he says that it is changed on the V5 to a 1998cc engine, but if the new owner wants to change it back for insurance and tax reasons they can.

And sorry, but what the fcuk is he banging on about here?!
(Direct Quote from his Ad on Ebay):
"Apologies: I forgot to mention that currently the dials in the car are not the correct ones for the model (from a v-reg)...i swapped out the original one as it didn't have a rev-counter and when racing around it its really useful to have revs. As a result of this the mileage shown on the clock isn't accurate (not really important seeing as its got a different engine), but also because the speedo is eletronic as opposed to cable so the Speedometer doesn't work. Everything else is fine, just the speedo and odometer are not working. i would put the original dials back in for sale, but someone sat on them and broke the needle. basically the problem is vauxhall dials for earlier corsas don't have rev counters (bar i think only the sri).

To get mph back you can get some new corsa dials (£15 from a scrap yard), i don't mind helping anyone do this...but its likely you won't be able to find one with revs and speedo so you will have to drive without a rev counter but with a speedo; in my opinion worse. you get used to what revs equal what speed really quick for avoiding speed cameras and the like."

Yeh, but why does it reuqire all that crap in between?! And sorry, but surely a speedo is slightly better than just a rev counter?!

what a complete tool.
Obviously a caring owner. Steering wheel is on the piss so probably not gone overboard maintaining it and the way he changes gear makes me think the gearbox is gonna have some serious play in it.

Yeh noticed he attacked the gear stick a wee bit harshly! Actually looked like it had potential as a decent sleeper, but tbh, I don't think he's helped himself with those vids as he has proved how well he has looked after it!
