Wanting some information about travelling to Australia for about a month.
Do I need a visa to travel there for this long? I havent decided whether I am going to work yet or just have a long holiday 
I will be a student travelling between the end of my placement and my final year.
If i only go for a month, am I likely to be able to get a job for that short amount of time?
Is the cost of living quite high out there?
Any other tips or help would be great.

the cost of living there is not high at all. VAT is charged at 10% 
i want to spend some time in australia also.
where you thinking of going? Perth? Sydney? Brisbon (sp)?

I'm pretty sure you can stay in Oz for 5 months maximum without the need of a Visa. One of my mates is currently out there - they plan to stay out there for bout 5 months, get a temp job in a bar or something, then move on to another country before a Visa gets requested!
