Ive got a 1.4 8v SRI Corsa b. I currently switched my airbox and swapped it for an induction kit. After less than 500 miles, i found that the car felt like it was just slightly less responsive on acceleration than it had been. Spoke to a m8 who owns a gsi and he said he had the same problems. Anyway, switched back to my original airbox and everything feels better again. anyone else had similar problems with the induction kits? also, does anyone have any advice on effective engine mods that dont break the bank too much (looking to spend approx £300 max) to squeeze some extra horses???? Cheers

induction kits are a waste of money. they create flat spots all over the place, and suffer from heat soak if the engine is warm. stick with a modified airbox and good panel filter.
if you are interested in improving performance enough to notice, try and get an exhaust system with a good manifold if you can. other than that, you have to spend more to get more from the 14SE engine
