right only 9 hours before i set off for a mad weekend...
going up to beardy's tommorow morning to have a new engine...
one getting beardy's he will take my 1.2 8v lump out..
we are then going over to robmarriott's and collecting the x14xe, cams etc
Gonna be great fun.. think we've just about covered everything i need now so its looking good so far...
broster told me today im having a powdercoated rocker cover
Will be picking up an inlet powerbox whilst in manchester to give it a little extra poke.. i will be taking progress pics etc

dont knock the x14xe. its a cracking engine and can put some much bigger engines to shame with a few choice mods.
Jason, sound like youve got a busy weekend! hope it all goes well

Yeah thats cool i was sort of in the dark as not many people have done the 1.2 16v to 1.6 16v so thats where i failed with having to get parts to finish it off etc..

its not that bad tbh. ive done a few 1.2 16v conversions and its just a bit more work than normal, as long as you know what wires do what its simple.

Good luck with thw conversion Jason. Sounds like you will have a nippy little car there with your mods.
Do you plan to have it RRd anytime soon?
