does anybody know of any new scams as i think my missus is being subject to one.

For the past two weeks my gf has been getting about 6 missed calls a day from an 0161 (manchester) number. if she catches them ringing and answers it goes dead straight away, maybe they are expecting her to ring back and it be a premium rate number?

each time she gets rang it seems that the last two digits are different. we are ignoring it but its gettin a bit of a nusence now, if anyone has any info etc would be helpful cheers

more than likely a chargeable call.
Cost you something like £50 each time you answer.

you can't be charged for answering it unless it's coming from abroad.

If you've got the number, pop it into google, a friend of mine has been hit a couple of times and been charged. He typed the number into google infront of me and it brought up info about the scam
