Had a bit of trouble with these lot a while ago, as I know alot of other people did. Anyway about 2 years ago we started talking to Trading Standards to get them aware and to try and get some money back. In the end we got no-where and they gave up with their investigations.

Anyway today out of the blue after like nearly 2 years since we tried to sort anything out, we got a letter through and a questionnaire about Illusion. Dont know whats suddenly spurred them on though.

Has anyone else recently spoke to Trading Standards about them or anything, just a bit funny how they suddenly send us this stuff. As we had given up and just called it a lost cause. Are they even still trading?

A lad of astrasport has been persuing these for some time, he is getting results and using trading standards.

It seems he has done 1 to many bad deals and they are now fully investigating Scott.

there is no they. Its a he. Last time i spoke to him he was trading from his house.

The reason he probably takes so long is because his cash flow is so low he has to wait fot orders to come thru to clear accounts before items get sent. Guy called Scott if i remember right.

i had trouble with this lot last year around may time. bought a dietrich gtr front bumper for £250 and recieved a reiger rs bumper (the add on one) a couple of days later thats worth £150. so, i tried to phone them but the line was dead. i then e-mailed to say what the problem was i got reply saying the phones were being repaired and that someone would call back. well a day passed and still no call. i tried ringing again, phones dead. i e-mailed again and again and again for a couple of months and not one reply!!!!

in the end i ended up with a bumper i didn't want that i paid £100 more for the privilage of! i ended up selling the reiger bumper for £120.

I've got some good stories about Scott from before he start Illusion (and while he had it). He totally fucked my civic up and then disappeared when everything was found out

If you call taking your car upto him when he had Koncept, doing neext to fuck all on it for 8months then when the company went belly up taking the car with him telling me the other guy was at fault (Koni, who wasnt and has been a great help since!). He took the car and said he had it in his mates bodyshop and was getting done. He disappeared after that, had no idea where the car was and no way of getting hold of him as changed all numbers. Then found out he had given it to a random bodyshop and told them it was his car, and they were getting ready to sell all my parts (over 5k's worth) + car off as he owed them money. Had to argue with them to get them to believe it was my car, and then Koni helped by taking the car back and is finally being sorted.

If I met Scott today I would gladly end his days working on anything, and from the people Ive spoken to in the past their are alot of other who he has taken money off and not got the stuff to them.

I hate fucking cunts like that

Theres quite a few dodgy bodyshops/retailers now. Have to be really careful of who to buy off.

Was Koni not the guy that screwed up a_j_mairs car? Or was that a different Koni?

Same Koni. Not so much screwed up but screwed around. Quality seems ok. Was supposed to be ready for MP wasnt ready, could never get him on his mobile, landline was non existent kept saying it will be ready next week, and never ready ended up sitting outside his unit for bout 3 days and he never turned up went awol for about a week. ended up collecting the car on a trailer getting bumpers painted at a PROFESIONAL bodyshop who had second to none customer services They also fitted new window seals that hadn't been fitted.

small list of problems at konis:
not ready on time
not ready on time
not ready on time
no communications, occasional text message
bumpers not painted
driver door and bonnet not polished
new window seals not fitted
windscreen replaced with diofferent one mine had green tint on top. now i dont have any tint at all
wiring cut up - complete mess
inside was covered with a thick layer of dust
cd changer was left in all dust and door was open
big burn on bucket seat

i must be the only person to have rippd him off

I bought that essex racing jap bumper when it was brand new a few years ago and found the quality was abysmal, bumper was all twisted and mis shaped. that cost me £240 and i wouldn't have paid £20 if i'd seen it. they wouldn't accept it so i was gonna write it off but scott bought it off me for about £180. couldn't believe it. must have been my lucky day. still hate essex racing with a passion, fckin crooks imo.

probably because he had someone pay him £300 for it 8 months earlier and thought he best send it by now!
