just needs ignition live, speed signal and what else... i think the car needs a new rack anyway and i can get an epas rack mucho cheapo... any gen, i know tim rud's car has it done

i have also wondered this would be helpful..... apperently PAS pumps aint to keen of 8k+

Are you on about Electronic Power Assisted Steering ? Its very good i think Vauxhall want 235 pounds for a rack though Jokers.

killed the alternator a while back, not i have a new tiny one from sbd...
