i sold something on ebay, around christmas time, and sent it out on the 6th of january.
he then sent me a email saying he hasnt received it and after some emails to each other he put in an official complaint to ebay about not receiving the item.
i have sent a photoof the receipt for proof of postage which clearly shows i sent it.
but the boy is still claiming a refund from me?
where do i stand on this?
i shouldnt have to give him money back after i sent it out to him?

dont send him the actual receipt!
Try tracking the package with the receipt to see if it was signed for / delivered.
