Well I shall finally be 21 in May
What do people think i should do?
My mum and her partner are going to vegas with my aunt, uncle etc who are all pretty young at heart. There going to be staying in the bellagio for 2 weeks and she said that I can go as well if i want??
Or have a 200 people+ party at local golf club for all my mates with Tuxedo and ballgown setup?
I could go to vegas and have a lads weekend away, paintballing etc?
Or have a present such as another rallying experience, get my racing liscense etc
What do people think!

What do you want? i'd take the holiday and something extra or the racing license. A party is only 1 night, but I suppose you'll always remember it, especially if it's a swanky affair.....

Yeh the party will be great, but then Vegas is something I doubt il ever be able to afford plus helicopter ride in the grand canyon etc would be amazing!
I could do that and arrange a lads weekend away with the boys 20 of us in nottingham etc and that would be a mess but great fun!
Party is a lot of planning and would cost probably £600
My dad says hes sorted my present so unsure what that is!

A party for 200+ would be well more than £600 if you intend to feed them aswell!
My gf is having a 21st party on 10th Feb and Ive been helping her to plan it. She is having it at a golf club, venue is costing about £150, DJ another £180, balloons + decoration is £100ish, then catering is about £10 a head (and thats a cheap menu!)

No food will be a finger buffet,
But the venue is £300, mate can Dj but the hire of the gear is £150
then you have extras as you said,
Party would be nice yes as get everyone togethor, but as the golf club is quite rural taxis will be expensive and my tight mates will all say its too expensive to hire a tux, pay for drink and taxi home or night in the hotel!

Brad, as you say, vegas is not something you can do all the time, will be something to remember for a long time to come. Id say Vegas, make the most of it

that is for a finger buffet, was the cheapest they do more or less. If they let you take your own then thats fine as can easily make it for a couple of hundred, but if not dont expect it to be less than £10 a head!

Finger buffet will be about £150 all up,
Were very very very good friends with a local catering company, they did my brother and sisters wedding etc
they could also do a pork roast, rolls apple sauce, stuffing mm mm
stewart - yeh vegas as i said is going to be £1500+ and its a way i could never afford, plus il just get pissed all day by the pool and find some youngsters to piss off!

i'd go for other options rather than a party, a lads weekend will be alot better than a party and there will be less overheads. Lets face it, the result will be the same, a big hang over!

Yeh boys weekend will be a mini stag due and very nasty and more fun will be had by all i think. Plus less hassle of gate crashers, hiring a tux, etc etc
