I have just returned from my local vauxhall garage after putting a deposit down on a vauxhall corsa. Just wondering what you guys think of the price i paid, good/bad?
Its a
Vauxhall Corsa 1.8 16v Sri
Registered 30 April 05
Done 7000 miles
Its in perfect condition, no scratches or curbing

It was on the court marked up as 8995, and would have had to add road tax.
I paid 8k on the road
So car + 6 months tax + a full tank of petrol
I then paid 300 quid for gap insurance for 3 years, which i thought was worth it as i have a 4k loan that is helping me pay the car over the next 2 years. So if it were to be written off they will pay the difference between what the insurance pays out and 8k.

my mate got a 04 plate sri last year.
so one year old, exactly the same miles, good condition.
he paid £7800 so pretty much the same sort of deal tbh

sounds good, i think it was a pretty good deal, i thought i would only get a 04 for 8k so cant complain
