Valentines day is a commercial con, why do you need to have a day to celebrate your love for someone? Its for those idiots that cannot love and need a day to pretend to love their lovers.

i agree, wish my g/f saw it like that  tbh i really wouldn't be that bothered if i didn't get a card. its a bit like christmas really, just spending money that does'nt have to be spent.

We just do somthing nice on our anniversary and then a few times a month, tend not to celebrate valentines but do usually get each other a card or somthing

I tend to spend a lot at chirstmas, not because i feel i need to, but when im shopping id see loads of things and not be able to make my mind up!
Id love to have roses delivered to my work on valentines day, purely as I know it would annoy a lot of people (the jealous types), plus its a romantic gesture iv never had before! (Also would be able to make it up to him)
