Well, last night on my way home, I got just round the corner and smoke was pouring out of the bonnet. Not just a bit of smoke, i'm talking house fire style! Out of the vent, in through the air vents, I was choking to death
Car is really pissing me off. In one way or another I've had problems since I got it...
First of all the manifold was blowing, had to get that fixed £200
Then there was a leak on the power steering, told me it was new steering rack £160
Then there was something up with the front tyres (had bubbles in the inside walls £100 each
Then it went in the garage for a service, was only meant to take a day (having cambelt done). But they told me it needed new tensioners and ended up being in the garage for an entire week! £400
Then it broke down outside my mates house with a flat battery. Something wrong with ABS pump!
I bought a high-level spoiler for it before christmas, been messed about a lot with having it sprayed and fitted. Just a waste of time.
Then failed its MOT on ABS, anti-rollbars, suspension bushes. Not got the bill for this yet, as it's all ongoing.
It was already booked in for saturday because the power steering was never fixed properly and is still pissing all over. Then of course last night happened! Now I have no car again and that bastard spoiler still isn't gonna be fitted!
Just mega pissed off. It's a fast car and great when it works, but unfortunately that's not most of the time.
Should I just sell it and get something else? 2.0 corsa or something, or am I swapping one unreliable car for another?

I was thinking that. Maybe at the end of it all I'll have a mint car with loads of brand new bits that doesn't let me down.

Thats the trouble with old powerful cars with a few owners, they are bound to have things go wrong.
I would get rid and buy a N/A car.
