The fake ones dont sound real at all, they dont chatter like dump valves and will continue after the clutch is released

yep, but they won't fit, they are the wrong offset. If they are the ones I am thinking of anyway, they are et38 IIRC.

HAHAHA! my dad said he'd buy me sum alloys... then showed me them for 200 at halfords lol...they dont even look gud to me...(no offence).

Surely power steering is worth it...ive drove my missus' car with none and mine with PAS...and makes removers and shat all gud! lol

Dump valves are not controlled by the clutch.

Its throttle controlled. When u lift off the throttle and the throttle plate closes. The trapped air goes out the dump valve.

Chav valves are shite. They are on turbos for a reason, to overcome compressor stall. If u fit one to a 1.2 you are quite simply. a fool.

Yeah they are the ones that i saw, havent seen them in the shop just online. I have seen a really nice set of white ones on ebay but they are 5 stud

What was meant by the fact that PAS isnt worth it is the amount of hassle that it would be to fit it to a non PAS car, the cost would probably overtake the value of the car itself, rendering itself pointless.

buy some second hand alloys off this website, or ebay, second hand alloys are much better value. and you will be able to afford much better alloys than halfords are offering for £200

thanks ryzer, got the car booked in at my local garage next saturday, they are gonna look it over for me to see if its worth my while spending cash on it and fit a new cambelt
