its often said that god is in the details. i want the conversion to go mega smooth, engine in once and thats is, with no issues afterwards!

Can anyone tel me what the small details are, like in the nova the heater matrix pipe needs cut to clear the tb, and the clutch cabe mount on the bulkhead needs bent to the passenger side.

are there any such small details i should be aware of in the corsa??

Here are a few things i didn't know before starting:

-Oil cooler pipes need plugging up
-Require ignition amplifier, coil pack
-You need the powersteering pump and alternator from the xe due to the type of drive belt
-You need part of the gear linkage from the corsa gearbox

Probably obvious things, but i just didn't know them before starting!

Wheel bearings normally go quick if you don't use the right driveshafts.

Oil cooler pipes don't need plugging up, you either fit the cooler or remove the sandwich plate and replace the oil filter stud.

If you want things to go smoothly I would say buy the hubs, gear shift mechanism and possibly the engine mount depending on how good you are at fabricating. If you don't have the facilities then you can't go far wrong buying a full kit.

You should also cut the fuel lines from the bulkhead of the donor vehicle...

when you say the right driveshafts, what do you mean?

Ive long wondered about the equal length/cally shafts as they must put pressure somewhere whether its cvs or bearings!

Oil cooler will be fitted if it has one

Ill be buying the mount kit, but welding the shifter. when you say buy shafts I assume you men M-tech?

also, you mean the rubber lines from the bulkhead to replace the low pressure spi items?

Corsa rad is fine, get a 1.0 12v top hose for the rad. throttle cable from the donor engine.
