...Am i right in thinking that council tax goes on the area u live in and the size of your house??

Does that mean an apartment would possibly be cheaper than a 2 bedroomed house?

i thought it went on area in england??

phone the council tax office tell them the address and see what band it is in.

Try your local council website not sure if they all publish (mine does) they will probably give you codes and value's relating to them.

appartment/flat/one bed house all band A if its kirklees think mine's about 800 quid a year ... worth every penny, not, the robbing bastards

Well ive been looking at those Millroyd Apartments in brighouse. I think a two bed furnished apartment for 450 per month was quite good, depending on c.tax as id heard that can be quite expensive, think its classed as calderdale

cheapest house i have seen in our area at the minute is 85grand for a half decent house.
