well i need to get a car in the nwxt week or two as am currently floating about in my old mans but its costing wayyyy too much.

so ive come to the decision of either a golf 1.6 or maybe stretching to the 1.8t , i would like the leather . id just stick some 18-9 bbs rims and drop it and light tints

or do i do the moding game and get an astra g , silver 3door, 18" kahn rss , drop it 30mm with a full irmsher kit and tints

i travel up to scotland alot so reliability and comfort is needed

am swaying towards the golf i think due to the leather(any pics of the recaro leather they come with??? ta)

I agree with Jr i drove a 2.0 GTI and it was depressing. To say it was a GTI is an insult.

only 150bhp though, and i was comparing it to my car, which is completely different

110 tdi or 130 or 150 if you can afford it

100 is a really good car though, and doesnt suffer from higher insurance as not classed as a gt

whats your max budget? ive owned a mk4 astra 1.8 sri, and driven a 1.4 golf and 2.0 gti(mk4) the gti was a nice car to look at but the performance was so dissapointing. i would personaly get the mk4 astra as long as you get 1.8+ with decent trim
