Ok heres the spill, i recently got my sub and amp i wired all up as i have done so before. But while adjusting the wiring for one of the channels. My shakey hand managed to touch the metal body and the screw at the same time producing a spark they only touched for a split second. Now the amp isnt working but no fuses have blown all the fuses ar perfect????????HELP???? could this be caused by a loose connection at the back of the head unit ???

Definatley worth checking all the connections before assuming the worst - I found that the remote cable is prone to coming loose in the past

if the remote lead is fine then check all other connections including power/battery, also do you need to set up the unit the run an amp (ie do u need to tell it that theres one connected for it to start sending sound to it

I've done this before and it turned out to be a fried fuse in the inline fuse holder.

Only thing I can think of is changing the fuses to make sure its not that, even if they look ok. Have you got any other amps you could try to see if its the amp thats blown? Also check fuses in the amp if you haven't allready
