in the book it says 10-40 or 15-40

bloke in part co says the wrong one can damage ure engine on the 12volts

just double checking, as i bought the part synth 15-40 at a guess

also these have a paper oil filter which i have never seen before!

What milleage? i use 10w 40 in mine.

And yes they are paper element filters. Just unscrew the black thing on the right of the engine that uses a 32 or 34mm socket

i used 10 40, but the engine had only done 45000 miles

10w40 semi synthetic will be fine

My 1.0L is on 89K and I've always used 10w40 with no problems
