whats peoples experiences on these etc?
i been lookin at a few today, n i like them but i need to know about insurance, performance etc etc...
i got quoted £3497 must be able to get it down or go on dads name.

my bro has one for sale, had full respray in blue and gti arches skirts, exhaust etc. Pretty sure you will be able to get a quote cheaper than that.

iv just sold 1 , they are a good solid comfy reliable car not the fastest gti but they hold there own. as for 1.4 novas beating them thats bull. 2.0 8v 115bhp is ok 16v 150bhp abit quiker . insurance depends on your age and noclaims???? last year i payed 950 fully comp thats at 21 with 4yrs ncb and 6 points. hope that helps. im now paying the same on an 04 plate leon Cupra 1.8 turbo 180bhp

try find a 16v
sluggish but 8v would be worse!!
leather is optional but comes standard in the gti color concepts.
gti anniversaries come in 8v and 16v, they have the gti seats, 16"s and red stripes on the bumpers.
23 when i got mine 4ncb cost me £570
corsa 1.2 8v was £450 at renewal then
