i have a 98 1.6 sport when i start the engine the revs go up to 1,500 and down to 400 and some times it stall other times it stops and 5 seconds and goes to the normal 900 rpm nand the shitty orange light comes on and it fine until i turn it off and back on #?? any ideas???

It will probably be the idle control valve.

Take it out and clean it and hopefully this will solve the problem. If you do a search I think there are some threads with pictures etc to assist in this

ive heard i can take it apart clean it and it will be fine do u know if this is true? its under the inlet manifold isnt it?
