jst check the usual stuff really, like engine bay, check if all the panels are the same colour underneath and everything apaperas to be striaght. if the bottom splitter on the front bumper is bent its not cos they have hit a curb, its becuase its been crashed at some point and same with the skirts, make sure they all match up perfect. when u turn it on u might hear a tappin sound, and in 1st and 2nd gear its quite loud. this is pretty normal on saxos apparantly, its the clutch oil or sumfin, u can get it fixed cheap but itl jst break again. but its jst a noise, doesnt actually change the performance or out. the gearboxes tend to go after a bit, on my last one the fifth gear didnt work but it wasnt a broken gearbox, the 5th gear is a different part from the rest of the gearbox and it simply slips ut so is cheap to fix and takes no time if it does happen to urs.
also when lookin for damage, check to see if both sides of the car are the same, ie. the rear quearter panels and check if the boot lid sits right.
theres loads of thing that can be wrong jst like all other cars, jst check it out thoroughly
but if u find problems afterwards dnt be so worried, most things r cheap to fix
and i sold one a few months ago for £1050. at the time the next vtr was around £1600, so can be picked up around that price. mk2 vtrs have 10bhp more tho and will probably be ur best bet

offset is how far in and out the wheels sit higher the offset the further in the wheel will sit
pcd is the gap between the holes
saxos are 108pcd 15-18offset

u would have had spacers or there would have rubbed the suspension not the arches lower the offset further out the wheel
same as ur comps they where et35 and had 20mm spacers
