I tried number "7" code and it said emergency calls only, so i put an O2 sim card in and it said unlock code so i put in number "7" and it unlocked it. I have a nokia 6230i

its not that hard to search google and find the codes urself

I have done it, you get 7 codes and after 5 trys the phone gets blocked. It says on some sites do it with the card out but this worked with another network card in

u use code 7 to unlock

you get 5 attempts

after 5 attempts you need it to be unlocked via cable

can be unlocked with or without a sim card

just clearing a few things up

The unlock code generators generally tell you which of the 7 you need to put in.

Does anyone know if the code for the 6681 will work on the 6680? Or if it would do any harm trying one that doesnt work? Got one that i want to unlock before selling it!
