Do you have the money to get the tools to set up?

Will you be self employed?

Any staff?

You need to come up with a business plan - then visit the bank manager.

and you have another overhead straight away as well as all your other outgoings.

Then you will more than likely struggle to pay all that you need to pay pver the first few months of trading as you will not have much coming in as you will still be establishing yours and your businesses name

a buisness takes a while to break even when setting up with tools, premises, insurance etc etc

There are several buisness gateway type places up here that help give young people a start in buisness etc
i would have a look for somewhere like that as i am sure they could help with buisness plans strategys advertising etc

ever thought of buying your own Chips Away Franchise. They deal with all the stuff you are wanting to do. you just buy out a van and all the bits needed, get the training and your away.
then you dont have to worry about setting up all the stuff yourself.

Right the options available to you might be limited to you via such traditional routes as the bank due to no source of income.

Though there are many more preferable options

First of all sign on, then ask to go on the partner in business scheme, it is part of new deal.
You will then receive you benefit for the next 6 months while you get your business up and running only drawback is all you money gets paid into an account where you need joint signatures for the length of the program.

Though if you are investing it back into the company they will sign it.

You can also get a grant of £300.00 from the job centre on this program which you do not need to pay back.

For additional set up financial I would recommend the princess trust. As you meet all the criteria

http://www.princes-trust.org.uk/

Contact them straight away as it takes a few months to get the money but they can give you either a up to a 4000k grant or loan or a mixture of both.

The advantage of the loan is its only £150 interest over the course of it and the first six months are £20.00

But most importantly of all get your business plan together and start the ball rolling.

Any time if you need some more advice u2u me anytime only to glad to help.

But the parthner is business scheme is pretty good. if you can afford to live on job seekers for 6 months as you have a luxery most start up business do not. i.e a regular income for yourself.

For that kind of business you just phone up one of the millions of companys selling franchises in it and say, "can I have a franchise please".

was going to say that, franchises always have a huge buy-in price, so its much easier to find the money to start something yourself than pay that cost!
