Astra has been running rough all last week so I booked it in to Vauxhall on Friday, who said they were going to order a coil pack for it and fit it today. Girl phoned me up at lunch time to tell me the coil pack was fitted and hadn't cured it, so they were going to take the head off. Nice one.

She said there was good news though, they had me a hire car! Woo!

I said no I'll just drive my Corsa. She was like 'do you want a bigger car, its an Astra'. I was like 'does your Astra make me laugh when I drive it?'

I'm using the Corsa for the week. Winner. Looking forward to making loads of noise tomorrow all the way to work. Ace.

I was going to just do a service and change the plugs, but the EM light came on so I thought they had better take a look.

Its out of warranty in March so I need an excuse to buy a Monaro anyway. They're loosing mega money. Be rude not to at least test drive one while mine is on a ramp.

The fluids were OK though I think. I think they're thinking valves or something. I bloody like the car though. Stupid thing has to break and start costing me money.

They're getting cheaper but the roof doesn't come off and they're crap on petrol. And it'll be a boring one not a VXR. And all my friends will be telling me to get a CLK or Audi something, which is actually more sensible than another 20k Vauxhall that will be worth half that in two years, like the last one.
