this is for a mate of mine, if u reshell a car u send off the log book with a change of chassis no. correct doe sthis affect reg of car if shell is older at all???

You can't do a re-shell technically. The you use the new shells identity.

as said its the shell that the id is done by u would need to vic it aswell as apply for new logbook new reg ect unless u already have the log book for the shell

right hes got both log books so wot does he do if he trnasfers all his old stuff on to his new shell

say that the old shell is scrapped, and add the engine number to the new shell etc
