need to join a union quick.
this is why: Am a last year apprentice sparky , to cut it short we have to do a portfolio as part of our course. So i handed in my portfolio last month and i put a picture to the wrong job , so my college went to see my boss and told him not to sign my work off inless its the correct picture for the job
so today i called my boss asking him where i am working tomorrow , he tells me , i then say i need to drop my portfolio so my college guy can pick it up.
he then says if its wrong he will sack me i laugh as i though he were kidding and he says "am serious i will sack you"
so where do i stand if he does? apart from on the street

If he sacks you you can to tribunal.I got sacked over a speeding ticket. Proved that it werent me and still didnt get my job back.
I just sorted it privately. Should of gone tribunal though.

No it turned out that the van I had was cloned. My boss sacked me on the basis that I would lose my licence. But with the photo evidence it proved it wasnt me. Sign written van you see. But my boss refused to re-instate me.
I was only 18 at the time so I just fucked his car, house and gave him a hiding whne I bumped into him one night.

i was under the impression, if you dont pass in colage while doing an apprenticeship, the boss has every right to fuck you off. i had to pass every year for 4 years or faced the sack. passed every year with flying colours 
maybe you boss was just in a bad mood, in most cases they wont sack you just for doing the course wrong, ubnless you keep doing it wrong and are shit at the job. you normally get another chance, after all he has put alot of time and money into training you up, he aint gonna want to start all over again with a fresh apprentice is he.

Bullshit. Apprentices are paid for by government funding. Unless your lucky enough to have a boss who will pay you extra out of his/her pocket.

time is money you know.
if a boss has trained someone up to a good standard and to there way of thinking, then why would he get rid of him so easy and start all over with someone else, this would be going backwards which will cost more money.

he cant do it, uve signed a contract and uve both given sufficient consideration and its legally binding!
if he sacks u get him sued for breach of contract and unfair dismissal my son!

Im guessing that fraudulently admissing a folio, and so failing course will be a sackable offence
If, however, the wrong foto was a genuine mistake then there may be grounds for manoeuvre

my training guy bollockd my boss for signing it.
so now hes said he will sack me if its wrong, i think its all ok and all pictures are correct but if i need to describe the jobs better ect he will sack me

Nah, IMO you are worrying about nothing mate 
As said before your boss is getting funding to train you. It doesnt look good if he is signing stuff off you havent done. That will no doubt affect his ability to take on other apprentices...
If your folio is genuine in its content (good or bad, but good enough to pass) then you have no worries
