i got a splitter not so long ago and it was in a rite state, cleaned it and and put it on..

one day i was driving as you do, and the splitter came off..

well this is what it looks like now.













i will post pics on my progress throughout.

Just looks like it's more worth buying a new one

But fair play having a bash at doing it yourself and it is a good way to learn how to do it yourself

didnt hit anythin, i just didnt put it on propperly and went down a bump, so it pulled the splitter down.. so i ran over it

ok update

managed to get 2 pieces stuck 2getha. just gotta wait 2 or 3 hours until it dries. then i can a some more fibreglass.

I would throw it away and buy a new one... Especially if you are repairing it with fibrefill...

Thats good, make sure you layer it up nice and thick around the repairs. If you can try filling it with expanding foam to make it a bit stronger. The fibreglass looks pretty thin...

i was gunna fill the whole thing with expanding foam, actually.. i just didnt know wether it would stick ok or not.
