Hi, I recently bought a corsa hatchback (called chevy here in mexico, for its a version of the european corsa), and I want to connect some neon tubes, but I've been having some troubles.
I want to put 2 bars at the front just above the pilot and co-pilot feet, but lookin in the web I've been reading you must connect it directly to the battery, wich I consider a bit un-professional.
I would like to know if there's any other way to connect them. I'm not too famliliar to the car's electronic system for this is my first car, so any help would be great.
One more thing In the tube's instruction says it's recommended that you use a 3A fuse. Where do I connect all (the fuse, neon tube, and anything else you could tell is a must) of this so you could tell the result is the better home made set up.
Greetings from across the ocean.
P.S. Sorry for the un-understandeable english

Welcome to CS
Your English is fine nukoso, can understand exactly what you want.
I connected my neon tubes into my interior light circuit so they came on when you opened doors or pulled the switch:

Not sure if that's any good for you, but I don't think you'll have to wire them direct to the battery in any case. Someone can tell you for certain I'm sure.
P.S. Any chance of you shipping me one of your lovely Chevy Corsa bonnets over here?

Thank you!, it seemed to me this is a great community so that's why I decided to joined in.
That sounds great.
But now I wander if i want to connect 2 tubes, should I connect it in paralell?,or is it a bad idea?, and what would be the best way to hide the wire so it doesn't hit my nose . Should I dissasamble the interiors?, or perhaps just use some glue and attach it to between the windshield and the top of the car. Cheers!!
