a 1 liter 12value be doing just come back from basketball trainin up the m6 and got the beastup to 102 all it has is a pipercoss induction kit how could i get it up to higher speeds , want to drop a tuned 1.4 sport in it thers one way

Don't do anything to this car. Sell it and buy a new one when you have some NCB. I don't know what peoples obsesion with engine swaps is here... Remove your induction kit too, don't rag it either. It's only got a 3 cyl engine and they aren't that strong...

if u were coming back from swimming lessons you would have only managed 100 due to your skin poars soaking in water therefore your body weighing more and more weight in the car means it was going slower

i agree with ed, no point in touching the engine, dont rag it, keep it in good shape and sell it later on and get something like 1.6

1.0 12v's dont like induction kits.Anything went wrong with the car yet?i knew a few people who fitted them and had endless problems with Air flow sensors etc

i got my 1.0 12v 103

thats the top speed ive ever heard. couple of mates have said the same about theirs.

this is correct. they are more hassle than they are worth............i had all sorts of problems

INDICATED top speed

i was driving down the M1 the other day, and everyone was doing 64mph, i, however, was doing a GPS confirmed 70mph.... far more accurate

have had no problems with it. its the first time i have took it that fast there was no cars on the m6 so just tryed it nver realy goes over 70. like ed said there is no point me putting a new engine in i with just get a new car which may be cheaper

i like the kit agot at the mo, my car looks goood but there is not as many horses under the hood for what i like how many bhp do they have any way about 50
