Have been offered a VW Golf 1999 model with 35,000 miles on the clock for £6000 - this any good?
its a 1.4 superchipped engine on about 155bhp
has full reiger body kit and 18" wolfrace alloys - looks the business but not sure whether worth the investment.
it also has a £2000 professionally fitted stereo system which hes living in the car if i take it??

Do you really want to go into it
155bhp is more BHP than the 1.8t for a start.

I think if thats the case we will start to see alot more 1.4 superchipped Golfs they are obviously better way to go that the 1.8t route.

oh do please wake up.

If hes daft enough to make something like that up then its a very good reason not to buy the car IMO. Hes probably lied about all sorts of things on it

Noooooo, don't pay £6000 for a moddified 1.4

That is well over priced, just check autotrader and see what they actually go for you'll see that he is having you over.
