if it was a really really early 1.2 you may jave problems as a few came with the carb version straight from the novarse

If your going to take off the gsi pump you need a, lower alternator bracket, belt and tensioner off a 1.4 16v 1995 model non pas or aircon

get the 1.6 shafts anyway too... can be used in 20xe conversions, so you'll get some cash

what help you need with imob? also is your 1.2 not SPI? if so you will need a MPI fuel pump if not already mentioned.

got mpi pump

got the pickup from around the barrel... and the chip from the the key... but how do i wire it in?

im guessing you dont have a pickup round your barrel at the moment then?

mines an N and had one, easy way, they key, should be able to split open the plastic bit from the top and see if it has a chip in it, if it does then your sure gonna have the pickup round the barrel lock, so just unscrew and unplug the old pickup and replace with new one

so where does the pickup connect to the ecu??

mate if the pickup is already there you dont need to do awt, you unplug old pickup and plug new one in, you unplug old ecu, and plug new one in, it does connect to the ecu through the cars harness.

get a haynes and try to work out where they go, im pretty sure it will already have an imob as ive said if you check if the key has a chip if it has its piss easy litterally case of changing the bits over if not your gonna have to run some wires.
