An exhaust to keep blocking up, and causing huge losses in power
A few weeks back this happened and when i looked underneath the car the cat was glowing red hot and smoking, so i assumed the cat was fooked and got it reaplced. Anyway a couple of days later the loss in power occured again and was struggling to do 60mph flat out in 3rd gear. But after 5 mins or so the power came back and the noise went?
The same happened again today but it stayed like that and the cat was glowing red again....surely the cat cant be fooked.
I really have no idea whats causing this?
Could it be that the original cat broke up and bits of it are blocking up the system?
Could the lambda sensor be causing this some how?
Sorry if it doesnt make sense peeps, any help appreciated
